Diana M. Longo, CFP®
Certified Financial Plannerâ„¢, Investment Advisor
Diana Longo, CFP®, continues to be motivated by the elevated level of ethics she finds within our firm. She follows the rule, "Be honest and always tell the truth."
At one point during Diana's work career, she became concerned about her personal retirement. She decided that the best way to learn was to jump right in. So, Diana began a new career helping others to figure out the same questions she was asking herself.
Diana received her FINRA Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and 66 (Uniform Investment Adviser - Combined State Laws) licenses. In 2015, she achieved her top goal of becoming a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®).
Now with 10+ years in the industry, Diana specializes in assisting clients with investment planning, preservation of assets, and retirement concerns. She assists clients with making well-informed decisions. Client education is key. There is always something new to learn, including possible tax revisions or solving a unique client situation. As a financial planner, she helps clients to understand the long-term effects of their decisions.
In addition, Diana has a unique private interest in bringing clarity to those facing the problematic issues of divorce, divorce financial planning, and mediation.
As a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®, a Divorce Mediator, and a Certified Divorce Coach®, she helps those in crisis to understand the complexities of terminating a marriage by creating actionable plans. For those couples who wish to resolve their differences without the antagonism of litigation, Diana engages in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) methodologies as a professional mediator.
Her additional civic activities include working with the Business Building Network of Livingston (BBNL), the New Jersey Association of Professional Mediators (NJAPM), the Institute of Divorce Financial Analysts (IDFA), and the Association of Divorce Financial Planners (ADFP).
"Away from work, I am also in demand for my baking creations. Close friends have named my fun hobby, "Diana's Delights!" I love entertaining, and spending time with my family is a special event, particularly when the kitchen is involved. I often indulge my past music training by maintaining a passion for operatic performances and listening to classical music."
